Conor has spent over 30 years in the insurance market, working first at Lloyd’s Policy signing office and then a number of broking houses, on both the claims and placing side.

In 1997 Conor made the switch to underwriting, starting a new Property account for the David Hope syndicate (part of Octavian).

In late 2000 Octavian along with Terra Nova, was acquired by the Markel Corporation. Conor was promoted to Managing Director and merged all the existing Property teams, to form a new division, for the 2002 year of account.

Leaving Markel International in 2007 Conor became a founding member of the Barbican Insurance Group where he personally launched the International Property division and was instrumental in the management and launch of a number of other key lines.

Conor joined Jubilee in September 2011 to lead the strategic development and growth of the Global Property business.

Gareth joined the property team at Jubilee in January 2012 to develop the binding authority account and assist in the strategic development and growth of the Global Property business.

Gareth has 30 years experience in the Lloyd’s market, initially starting out at A S Harrison and Others, Syndicate 56. He has since worked at Chaucer Syndicates, where he helped to establish their Small Commercial Package Binding Authority unit. In 2002 Gareth joined Markel International where the binding authority unit wrote close to USD 100m in combined premium for property and commercial general liability business. In 2010 he joined the Travelers Syndicate, refining their binding authority portfolio before joining Jubilee in early 2012.

Zara graduated with an honours degree in Law from Queen Mary College, University of London, entering the graduate scheme at Wellington Underwriting, before becoming a permanent member of the facultative property underwriting team following the merger with Catlin Syndicate. Zara spent 5 years with the team at Catlin during which time she also gained experience in the Claims department via secondment and worked closely with the wordings team.
