Specialist Lloyd’s insurer Jubilee has been appointed to extend the coverage of Insurance4carhire, Towergate’s specialist international excess car hire insurance provider .

Jubilee is underwriting and providing claims handling for Towergate’s annual policy covering the reimbursement of the excess individuals pay when a hire car is damaged. Jubilee’s appointment will enable cover to be provided for Europe only or on a Worldwide basis and will also include supplemental liability in the USA and Canada.

The cover , offers increased policy limits on a per claim and annual aggregate basis. These represent increases of between 50% and 60% compared to current industry standard limits.

Individuals hiring vehicles for either leisure or business purposes can make savings of 50% on premiums by purchasing cover in advance of compared to the policies offered by car hire companies at the desk when customers pick up their vehicle.
