Jubilee Managing Agency Ltd obtained approval as a Managing Agency in October 2003.  FSA approval followed in January 2004.  

The first syndicate to be managed by Jubilee was Motor Syndicate 1231 which had previously been managed by Liberty.

In March 2005, Jubilee Managing Agency Limited became the Managing Agent for Syndicate 5820 following Jubilee’s acquisition of the Cassidy Davis businesses from St.Paul Travelers Group.

The Jubilee Group also acquired the Cassidy Davis and Lutine distribution companies which continue to trade under Jubilee’s ownership, providing business and support services to Syndicates 779 and 5820.

Syndicate 5820 was established by Jubilee to offer renewal terms on the Cassidy Davis business, including creditor, medical expenses, affinity products and mortgage indemnity classes.  This business was previously written within St.Paul Syndicate 5000.  

In 2009, Syndicate 5820’s underwriting portfolio was expanded and diversified with the establishment of a Global Property team.
