Meet the team
Julian Cashen - Active Underwriter
Educated at Oxford University where he took a degree in Modern Languages (leading naturally to a career in insurance!) Julian began his career at Guardian Royal Exchange before leaving to work in the Lloyd’s market in 2005.
Julian then established a Motor Fleet portfolio at Gerling before leaving to join Jubilee in November 2002. For the years 2003 – 2006 Julian was responsible for the successful establishment and growth of the Sub Syndicate 1952 before he was appointed Active Underwriter for the entire Jubilee Motor business in January 2007.
Justin Suttle - Fleet Underwritter, JJS
Justin gained many years experience with Royal Sun Alliance before leaving to work with Julian Cashen at Gerling. He subsequently helped to establish the JJS business within Jubilee where he now has overall responsibility for the Fleet portfolio. This accounts for 60% of the Group’s income.
Gerry George - Claims Manager
Gerry was claims manager for Eclipse Motor Policies before leaving to help set up Syndicate 1231 in 1997. He has served on many Industry working parties and was Chairman of the Lloyd’s Motor Claims Managers in 1998.
He was Chairman of UK Claims Managers for two years in 2000/2001 and presently serves on the MIB technical committee and the Lloyd’s Law Reform Working party.
Rob Neale - Fleet Underwriter, Jubilee
Rob came in to insurance after a spell in the Merchant Navy and 6 months working for the Lord Mayor of London. Now with over 30 years' experience under his belt he has held a number of positions within the Lloyd's and Company markets as well as working within the environment of a Gibraltar based insurer.
Rob joined Jubilee from Link as part of the deal that saw Jubilee purchase the renewal rights to the book of Fleet business which Rob had developed over a period of 5 years.
Matt Morling - Claims / Underwriting Coordinator
Matt first worked with Julian Cashen and Justin Suttle when, as an employee of WNS, he was the Account Manager responsible for the Gerling Account. This partnership was so successful that in 2004 Matt was offered the opportunity to join Jubilee where he is responsible for Client Management with particular emphasis on ensuring the delivery of the best possible claims handling service.
